Founded in 2012, Gökdeniz Underwater Community aims to teach members beginner- and advanced-level scuba diving at diving centers approved by the Turkey Underwater Sports Federation, and to join tours organized by certified diving schools. The most common training at the community is the beginner-level Open Water Diver (OWD) (ISO 24801-2 Autonomous Diver) training.
